Tell us about the love you share
Our first encounter was in Spring 2009 when a friend of mine needed a fill in for her coed softball team in Southbridge. Keith was the manager of the team and to be honest we really didn't talk much to each other at that time. Fast forward to Fall 2015, we have not seen each other for about 6 years at this point. I was playing softball for my Webster Coed Team, PAV and Keith was on our rival team, The Angry Beavers. We always enjoyed playing against each other but both teams were pretty competitive when we did. During this season I started a Home Run Derby Fundraiser for our league and that year Keith came by and hung out with my team and helped out by pitching for many of the players. He started to come around to more of my games and would join us for our nightly after game beers at PAV. One night I needed help setting up the field for playoff games, Keith would always say that if I needed anything to just ask. Well that night was the beginning of it all! Keith came out the field helped me get everything ready for the night, we then went out for some drinks after all the games. Next thing I knew we were making plans for a first date. I have to say this was the most unexpected and amazing night. This then lead to many more dates and the rest is history, I couldn't have asked for a better man in my life.
The Proposal
Well, for many I know this wasn't a surprise, and you were expecting this, but he really got me on this one. We planned our first vacation together, a Caribbean Cruise during my February Break. We were on the boat cruising towards the Bahamas and decided to check out some of the shopping the boat had to offer. Keith purchased a watch at one of their events the night before and we had to pick it up in the jewelry store. While waiting I was looking at all the pretty rings and Keith asked me if I saw anything I liked. I said not really and told him what I was looking for. At the time I thought he was joking but he said "Is this what you are talking about?" I went over to the display and it was gorgeous, exactly what I imagined. As I am looking through the glass the salesman comes over and opens the case. I didn't understand what was going on, next thing I knew, Keith was putting the ring on my finger and asked me to marry him. We finished the night by going up to the top deck of the ship and were able to take some amazing pictures as the sun set over the ocean. This was and will be the most memorable vacation I could have ever hoped for.
What do you love most about your partner?
Amanda:
He is such a strong willed and hard working man. He trusts and believes in me no matter what happens in my career or personal life. He supports me physically and emotionally when I need it and knows when I just need my time. Ever since the beginning he has been able to make me smile and laugh even when I am having a bad day or I am mad at him which is never for a long time . He is my best friend that I am so lucky to have found, he completes me.
Keith:
I love her ability to put up with my sense of humor and sarcasm. She takes me seriously but can also tell when I am giving her a hard time. We have the ability to sit in silence but still know that we are together enjoying each others company. All of her annoying habits that drive me crazy at times, it doesn't bother her that it bothers me, I feel that it is her way of pay back from my sarcasm. She is always making sure that I am well feed.
Tell us a little about yourselves.
Amanda:
Special Education Teacher at Southbridge High School
I enjoy playing softball in the fall and bowling in the winter. I help out for many school sports teams. I love my girls wine and dinner nights and family time whenever possible.
One fun fact about me is I originally went to college for Electronics, I then changed my major to Exercise Science, and now my profession is teaching. Total 360 but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Keith:

Enjoy playing softball and volleyball in the summer, spring, and fall, then darts during the winter months. Design and make furniture in my spare time. When I moved into my first house at 25, I made all of my furniture for my living room and bedrooms.
One fun fact about me is I have been working at Morse Lumber since 1999, that is 20 years !

Once a week we make sure to have a date night, some times we will try a new restaurant or take a local day trip. We are both on a softball team together and when Keith is on his own teams I enjoy to go watch and be the book girl for the team. Keith is not much of a vacation guy but since we have been dating I have tried to broaden his horizons when it comes to destinations other than Massachusetts. So far we have made long weekend trips to RI, VT, and ME. Most recently and the trip that we got engaged on was a 5 day cruise out of Miami, FL and we visited the Bahamas and Key West, FL.
If you could pick one word that describes you as a couple, what would it be and why?
Amanda:
Perfect, because we just fit into each others lives so nicely and we really do complement each other.
Keith:
Real, because there is no bullshit between us. What you see is what you get.
Love
